Start with the exterior of your home, better known as your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your home from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What dollar-earning characteristics seem hidden? Acknowledging this helps us to decide what plan of action we can use to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with touched up paint and bright garden plants it's time to get those things done. Make yourself at home...

Could a buyer envision themselves hanging out in your living room, unwinding in your spa tub or getting work done in your home office? I want your Open House to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of ease. I'll help you achieve this by suggesting small improvements that enhance the features of your home. I'll advise you eliminate anything that gives the impression of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get stored away too. You need to "generalize" the house so buyers can imagine it as their new house.

Every room gets a once-over. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.

Buyers want a residence that invites them inside. Anything that could be "loud" should go into storage in order for your property to garner mass appeal to buyers.

During your Open House, we want to capture buyers' attention. Brightening up your interior is of major importance, so we'll do things like part the curtains and create light where needed to show off your home. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and make sure a pleasant aroma flows throughout your house. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and place pillows on your sofa and bedding. Buyers should feel like your house has the potential to be.
